What Happens on Teacher Workshop Days?

The school calendar includes six professional development days each year. These days are a critical component of ensuring that teachers and staff members have time to engage in training and collaboration. Today our staff members received training in CPR/AED/First Aid, worked together to advance their understanding of supporting students with complex social emotional needs, and engaged in reflection on the teaching and learning that occured in the first trimester as they completed report cards.

Additional teacher workshop days are scheduled for March and May. On those days, we will continue to work toward our NEASC goals of refining and revising our curriculum documents, improving our tiered supports for students, and finalizing a vision of the graduate and creating a plan for ensuring that vision is the foundation for the culture and climate of our school.

Thank you to the very generous parents who provided breakfast for our staff this morning. It was delicious and greatly appreciated!

Have a wonderful weekend!
