Graduation will be held on the Northwood School softball field on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather on that date, the ceremony will be moved to June 17 at 5:00pm.
Graduates should dress formally for this special occasion. All eighth grade students should be at the school by 4:45 p.m. the afternoon of graduation in order to line up with their class and receive final instructions. Students will report to the gymnasium through the courtyard entrance. Parents and family members should go directly to the softball field so that the graduates can focus on preparing for the ceremony.
Each eighth grade student will have already designated four seats for family, friends, etc. with his or her name on them. Ushers will direct you to your reserved seats. Please have family members carpool to the extent possible; parking spots are always in short supply! If a student has more than four guests, there will be limited general seating available.
The ceremony itself will include speeches from this year’s Honors recipients (Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and High Honors). We are looking forward to celebrating our graduates!
